(Redirected from Corporal)
Cadet Corporal (Cdt Cpl) is a rank in use in some form by most militaries, police forces or other uniformed organizations around the world. It is usually equivalent to NATO Rank Code OR-4. In the Air Training Corps it is the first rank after cadet. In the CCF (RAF) it is the first rank after Junior Corporal. The next rank is Cadet Sergeant.

Promotion Criteria
Promotion to Cadet Corporal is dependant on a number of criteria which can vary between squadrons. They can include any of the following:
- minimum First Class Cadet
- minimum of 14 years of age
- attended at least one weekend camp
- attended either a Squadron or Wing NCO course
- represented the squadron at Wing Athletics in any event
- competency in taking Flight drill
- partaking in DEA Award
Do not get confused between the Cadet rank and classification (Training) structures. They are mostly independent from each other.
